About TechToTech
A founder-led indie software studio in Nairobi, Kenya — building AI tools, SaaS platforms, and full-stack apps end to end.
Meet the Founder
TechToTech is built and run by Dorn Dickence, a computer science student and indie software developer based in Nairobi, Kenya. Dorn builds and ships AI tools, SaaS platforms, and full-stack applications end to end — from architecture to deployment — with a technical stack spanning Python, FastAPI, Flutter, Supabase, Docker, and LLM fine-tuning and deployment workflows.
Alongside TechToTech, Dorn works as an educator affiliated with Meru University of Science and Technology, and conducts quantitative research on WorldQuant BRAIN, building and testing trading alpha strategies. This mix of software engineering, applied AI, and research gives TechToTech's work a practical, rigorous edge — every product is something Dorn has actually built and used, not just spec'd out.
Hands-on
No account managers or handoffs — you work directly with the developer writing the code.
Honest
Realistic scopes, plain-English updates, and pricing that doesn't hide behind jargon.
Shipping-first
Real, working products beat perfect plans. The goal is always something you can use.
Rigorous
Backed by CS training, applied AI work, and quant research on WorldQuant BRAIN.
A Studio, Not an Agency
TechToTech is deliberately small. Instead of a large team with overhead, project managers, and offshore handoffs, it's one developer building the whole thing — from the architecture down to the deploy scripts.
That means faster decisions, tighter feedback loops, and code written by the same person who talks to you. The proof isn't in slide decks — it's in the products already shipped: CyberSentinel, Trust Vault, FX ML Bot, JobFlow, TechToTech Support, and CarbonSentinel.
